All brake systems require servicing periodically. Most of this carried out during one of the standard packages silver through to Platinum. However every so often you may require a simple brake service. Quite often and more often during inclement weather braking systems begin to fail and/or corrode. On cable systems this is quite often a cable fault but can also be seen in the mechanics of the calliper. With some hydraulic systems the pistons begin to corrode and bind to the side walls of the piston bore.
